We believe that expanding the pool of people working on quantum technologies is a way to ensure that the benefits of these tools are widely, swiftly, and equitably distributed. Since 2018, our grantmaking program has supported the development of over 100 open source quantum tools and software all over the world, and our research has developed key projects for the ecosystem, including error mitigation, compilation, and benchmarking, and our open source community resources reach over 4,000 active members of the quantum technology ecosystem annually. is a non-profit working to create a quantum technology ecosystem that benefits the most people.
